Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located right on the harbour in Illframcombe, offering a brilliant spot near all the shops and restaurants. Despite the rooms being basic but clean, the proximity to the harbour is a definite perk. The dining experience may leave something to be desired with slow service and limited options, but the price is reasonable for what is offered.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with some highlights like a nice sea view from the room, but it feels a bit dated. The location is excellent with friendly staff and good breakfast but lacks cleanliness in some areas. The dining experience is satisfactory but could use improvements in service and taste quality.
The hotel was a bit dated and poorly adapted in terms of rooms, but we managed to upgrade to a lovely room for an extra cost. The reception area was cluttered and small, almost like a double room with an extra bed added. However, the location was great, with views overlooking the harbor right in the heart of Ilfracombe, surrounded by excellent restaurants.
